The Great Pumpkin

It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! One of my favorite memories of Halloween is the Peanuts special where Linus waits all night for the Great Pumpkin. He misses tricks-or-treats and the Halloween party, but oh the sincerity! And what a great soundtrack too!

Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live

Saturday Night Live has actually been funny over the past few weeks.  Their impersonations of the presidential candidates and their running mates were pretty good, but the best imitation is Tina Fey as Sarah Palin.
The best show was last Saturday when Sarah Palin appeared in person and participated in skits with Alec Baldwin and sat-in on Weekend Update as Amy Poehler did an “Alaska Rap” routine.  Funny stuff!  It’s great to see politicians with a sense of humor.
Thanks to NBC, we can still see the video.  “You Betcha!”

Hanging at the Nursery

The 4 Stages of Life

This image was recently received in my inbox from a trusted source. It’s interesting from the standpoint of how simply we can represent real life with imagery. An entire lifetime is presented here with four liquid containers. Each stage of life represented by the liquid inside.
