Super Bowl XLIII

This advertisement for PETA sure has gotten alot of press since it was banned from appearing during Super Bowl XLIII.  It is pretty racy, but not anymore than some of the nasty soaps that air on the same networks.

It would appear that the million dollar advertising spots are getting more attention than the actual game, team or the players.  But that will probably change later today as the media frenzy heats up for Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, between the Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I’ll be one of the millions of fans parked in front of the TV this Super Bowl Sunday, with my snacks and drink in hand.  I think I’ll cheer for the Arizona Cardinals, just because they’re the underdogs, but I also want to see Jennifer Hudson sing the national anthem.

The main event will be the halftime show with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.  I wonder how many songs they can squeeze into their 12 minute performance time?  “Born to Run” and “Born in the U.S.A.” are a gimme, don’t you think?
