Thanks to CyberCoder
I’d like to give a big Thanks to CyberCoder for helping me update the DailyRover. As my personal blog, it needed a few changes, and you were able to step right in, see what needed updates, and run with it.
It may seem obvious, but it’s so true. Focus on your strengths as a team and [...]
The Daily Ramble
Originally dailyrover.com was about my favorite dog Enzo, so I called this TheDailyRover. After he moved away I ran out of pictures and video, so I decided to turn this site around and use it as my personal blog.
I think I’ll call it The Daily Ramble.
Relax, World - Lindsay Lohan And Samantha Ronson Are Still Together
Our American counterparts excitedly wrote this morning about how Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson had split up. Their source? The hardcore journalists over at Access Hollywood. Personally, I didn't believe it for a moment. Because if there's one thing I know for certain in this crazy mixed up world, it's that Lindsay Lohan would announce that kind of shit on her MySpazz blog, where she has revealed almost every other feeling she's had over the past few months. And that's why I love her. I patie
ACLU Help Line Pockets of Gaza Scumbag
Jammie Wearin Fool has the details on how he was asked to remove a shirt with arabic writing and Jet Blue settling the lawsuit for $240,000! Also a link to the scumbag’s pro-Gaza blog, and a note from him ensuring us that he will certainly be sending some of the settlement cash to Gaza! What would we do without the ACLU?

On May 16th, 1980, rookie point guard Magic Johnson filled in for the injured Kareem Abdul-Jabbar at center, and led the Lakers to a 123-107 Game 6 victory. Magic tallied 42 points, 15 rebounds, and dished out 7 assists to lead the Lakers to their first of five NBA titles in the 80’s. [Note: RSS readers, there is a video within this blog]

Lover’s spat
I don’t usually get real personal on this blog, but I think I know you all well enough now that I feel comfortable telling you about this. I just need to tell *someone* y’know? Just need a willing ear to listen to my tale of sorrow. Y’see, Valkyria Chronicles and I have had our first fight. Things were going so great, and even when the fight happened, I just thought it was a little thing that we’d just get through. A speed bump on the way to our long term bliss. But days later, we’re still a
K-1 Dynamite - Sato vs. Kyshenko
Big thanks to Gusnark for ripping this and sending it our way. This was from the K-1 Dynamite NYE show. [There is a video that cannot be displayed in this feed. My first bad Starbucks Experience
On Sunday I had some spare time after dropping my wife off at work and prior to heading to church for the 9 AM service at First Lutheran Church in Southwest Calgary. I decided to visit my local Starbucks on 85th Street SW near the West Springs CO-OP to grab a grande House and check my email and write some blog posts. This Starbucks is pretty new and don’t have their Wi-Fi working so I had to hook up my air card, normally Starbucks provides 2 hours of free Wi-Fi with a Starbucks card, no worri
Tackle it Tuesday #137:Tackling a HUGE project!
This week our new resident tackler, Jena, is posting tackling a huge project by breaking it down into one hour segments. Jena, also known as the organizing mommy, blogs at Organized Everyday. How do you feel about tackling the messiest, most disorderly part of your house?!? Yeah, just like that! Overwhelmed!!! Well, I do too sometimes. Every year, when the New Year rolls around, I get this compulsion to organize the bowels of my home, the part I affectionately refer to as: the dunge
WP to Twitter Mod
I was looking for useful Wordpress plug-ins a while ago and stumbled upon the WP to Twitter Mod, which let’s Wordpress blog owners update their Twitter timeline at the same time they publish a new post, a new page, edited a page and a new link on the sidebar (blog roll). So much more, it’s still my first day using the plug-in so I can’t still give out my thoughts right now. I’ll just keep everything posted. Though, wish me luck on this one.
Bluehost : I am an idiot, please help :(
Bluehost is among our best web hosts. Sign up with bluehost here This is a bluehost question posted by nikkita on 06 January 2009 I am new to this and have been going round in circles trying to remedy my problems. I hope some kind souls out there will be able to assist me First, I signed up to wp.com. I paid $15 for my own domain name, delisioucity.com. This is a food blog that I have transfered from blogspot. Stanford IP Litigation Clearinghouse Is Well Worth a Look
The Chicago IP Litigation Blog put me onto Stanford Law School’s new IP Litigation Clearinghouse. This is a neat site. While not completely built out, it lets users (registration required) quickly access IP case information, organized by type of case, forum, or law. This eventually may put me out of business — or at least my annual “Western District Statistics” posts (which will be delayed this year, by the way, because of my out-of-state trial). Searching “trademark” cases in the Western Di
Do You Like Comics? Wanna Blog?
I’m loving the Bloglin these days! It’s such a mixed bag of everything I love and fuels this brand, but one thing is missing… COMICS! Sure I know I’ve made a few posts, as has Toilet Cobra, but I’d love to add just one Blogger who knows his comics and wants to voice his opinion. You know basically be the complete opposite of Wizard and not pretend like every book put out is amazing. Someone to shine the light on deserving books, and someone who isn’t afraid to call out a book if it well, suc
Diary of a Madman
As I get ready to focus on substantive legislative issues, I figured I’d have some fun with some recent hate e-mail that was sent to me. This was posted on another blog and the person who wrote it did not sign their name, and frankly I don’t blame them after reading this. Instead of posting the e-mail and then responding, I thought I would mix the two. You can easily figure out which is which. I made no changes to the original e-mail and re-printed it as is. ****** Hey Guys, I HATE to i
The blog and website get “a little work done” {Kansas City photography}
I’m so excited! My blog and main website both have new looks! It’s a new year after all and time to ramp things up to align a lot more closely with my brand. The blog tweaks are subtle, most noticeably the awesome slideshow at the top. Beneath each post is an opportunity for you to add a comment and now those are a bit more clear, too. Big props to Heather at Lovebugs Photography Designs for A+ assistance on the blog design changes. The website changes are much, much more noticeable and somethi
