Easter should remind us that love has triumphed, and that we can “start again from Christ” to build a society of peace and love. “These holy days reawaken a great hope in us,” he added. [...]
Palm Sunday
Today is Palm Sunday, which begins Holy Week for the Catholic Church, and signals the end of the season of Lent. It’s the most solemn time of the year for us Christians, as we contemplate Jesus Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, the Last Supper, His crucifixion and death, and His resurrection on Easter Sunday. [...]

March: I was a participant in the BUFBOPOFO08 and hosted a total awesome Easter Sunday meal. April: Vacation, baby. Also, I revealed
CDPB Theme Day: Picture of the Year
.Okay, after much consultation with friends and colleagues, I declare that my personal best of the year was this portrait of Novice Sister Kristi Kreams, Abbess, Gateway Sisters of Indulgence, St. Louis, MO, taken at the St. Louis Pridefest and posted on June 30. Christmas Eve - service breakdown
Normally I do my best to give you some thoughts related to Sunday morning and a bit of a confessional of how things went. This week I want to do something a little different. I know that there are lots of you who are looking for very specific ideas at certain times of year - Christmas Eve, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, etc - so I thought that I would give you a breakdown of our Christmas Eve service with some explanation of every single element. If you are looking for Christmas Eve service ideas
This is So Nice!
There is one good things about having a Hub who works for an educational institution in NZ - he gets from midday Dec 24 to Jan 2 off without having to use his annual leave. (He also gets the Tuesday after Easter off, but he often works on Good Friday and Easter Sunday so that's not as great. And contrary to popular belief, if you're not on the teaching staff, you don't get all the school holidays off. Polytech tutors never understand that!) Anyhoo, even though I had hoped to finish the many 200
