It was originally spelled “Inglorious Bastards” but now Quentin changed the title to “Inglourious Basterds”. Notice the difference? I think Tarantino did it as his way of not confusing people with Enzo Castellari’s 1978 film “Inglorious Bastards”, but I’m sure there’s more than one reason why he changed the title a little bit. Until now, this site has been properly spelling Bastards, but it seems that Tarantino is deliberately spelling it wrong.
