Wow: Wooden quilt


This astonishing art is the work of Fraser Smith. Fat Tuesday is carved wood, oil stain, and mixed media. That’s right. This quilt is a wood carving. ctpubblog says, “Every detail is complete, right down to the dimples caused by the ’stitches’ in the ‘batting.’” Wow. See the post for a link to more of Smith’s work.
